Yet another series of photos of a demolished neighbourhood has been posted onto the ghost machine by the City of Montreal archives.The area here was knocked down for the benefit of Highway 20, ie, the Ville Marie Expressway.
These photos reflect an area that is a lot less of a neighbourhood than the others. It shows the occasional home but mostly offices and other workplaces. As with those other neighbourhoods, this one, which would have been contiguous to the area demolished for the CBC tower, doesn't have much of a distinct identity.
